Regardless of the fact that you are playing roulette online or in the casino, you must know the written as well as unwritten rules of the game. If you are a new player of online roulette then you must familiarize with the rules of the game. Generally it is considered that the rules may vary by location or website but some basic rules are same. Firstly, the chips should be placed on the board rather than tossing them.

Secondly, the changes for the colour chips or for the cash need to be done between spins. Most of the dealers make change during the spin if they get time. The call bets are generally considered as courtesy bets and they are placed only if the dealer gets the time to change or place the bets. If the dealer and the inspector dealer have repeated the bet, then the bet is considered taken. On the other hand, if the dealer announces ‘no bet’ then he will not take the bet. Another important etiquette is to avoid eating and drinking over the table. Moreover, leaving a tip for the dealer upon leaving the table is also considered the polite attitude of the players.

The USA Sportsbooks are full of most entertaining and compelling games. However, the casino gaming has been becoming the major industry in the United States for the past two decades. I was amazed to know that prior to late 1980s; casino was only legal in few cities like Nevada, Atlantic City and New Jersey while today, casino is legal in 29 states. Because of the growing USA Casinos industry, the annual gaming revenue of US has increased. From a research study, I have found that from 1991 to 2001, the annual gaming revenue of the US has grown from $9 billion to over $40 billion. I believe that trend of casinos in the US is also increasing because of the Americans spending in casinos as compared to other games like golf and consumer products. Basically the casino industry can be categorised into two major parties including Indian tribes and publicly traded private corporations.

In addition to providing entertainment opportunities, casinos have also enhanced the employment for the local people in the United States. The most popular game played in casinos is the USA Poker, which is also available online. Therefore, the US is really getting a large percentage of revenue from gaming industry.

Playing Casino Games Online

Sunday
Jan 18,2009

If there is one area of the gambling field that is increasingly growing in size. It’s the online gambling market. In particular, Casinos. For those not in the know, an online casino is a virtual casino, that you can play in from the comfort of your living room.

Online casinos often offer a much wider choice of games than your local, physical casino also, which makes them a huge draw. Online casinos typically offer the same table games such as Roulette and Blackjack and often feature many weird and wonderful slot style games that you can play via your web browser.

The only downfall when it comes to playing via an online casino is that you don’t feel the chips and don’t feel that you’re playing with real money. This leads to much larger betting when compared to physical casinos as the money doesn’t seem as much as when compared to a real table. People also claim that it takes away the reality of the whole casino environment, which it does in a way, but the positives by far out weigh the negatives when it comes to playing a Casino online.

Most online casinos will let you join for free and often give you a small player bonus to get you started.

Adapting while playing poker

When it comes to poker, one skill is simply mandatory. That skill is the ability to adapt to your opponents’ playing style. Every poker player has their own style of playing. Whether it is bluffing, premium hands only, or any other style. Your goal as a player is to identify your opponents style and catch it during their big plays. This is where you will win the most money from him.

1. Figure out who is the most dangerous player on the table. While there are other players on the table, for now your goal is to find who is the most dangerous. The most dangerous player will be busy taking people’s money away. Remember the most aggressive player is not necessarily the most dangerous player out.

2. Notice how he plays. If he is constantly bluffing, do not try to catch him during a bluff. Only call him when you have a good hand. The luck of the cards is very mysterious. Many have lost with premium hands to 2/7, so make sure your hand is good enough and do not go all-in before the flop.
3. If you have followed your opponent for a while now and it seems he has no gimmick, then play him straight on with the occasional bluff. Keep your bluffs to u

4. You can figure out how a player plays by looking at his hands if he decides to show. If he never shows any of his hands, then you should start looking at his aggressiveness. If he is not an aggressive player, than play him slowly. If he is aggressive, catch him in his aggressiveness. Aggressive players will never last long and will knock out a few players, but at the end, they end up losing everything, simply because they are not patient with themselves and want to speed up a process that is simply not in their hands.

5. Once you figure out your opponents style of playing, simple abuse it all day until you become a winner.

6. If you are opponent is a complicated one that will play random hands, pull tons of bluffs, play aggressively towards everyone, you need to watch out for this player. This is the poker paradox. You can never tell if he is bluffing or whether he’s got the pocket rockets in his hand. The truth is these types of players are totally unpredictable and very dangerous to deal with. You should engage this players only when you have a premium hand, because eventually you will catch them in a bluff that will lead to their downfall.

Casinos in Prague

Having just got back from a recent vacation to Prague, Czech Republic. I have decided to inform all my visitors about the wonderful Casinos there. Now, Prague doesn’t just have Casinos, it also has a lot of “Herna” bars or “Game Houses” as the translation reads. A Casino is a casino as we know it, but these Herna bars are something different entirely. They’re like small shops with a handful of slots and maybe, if you’re lucky an electronic Roulette system. There are also some “in-between” places to play also which call themselves Casinos but are really Herna and vice versa. I don’t know if it’s down to a licensing law or something else.

Anyway, the real Casinos in Prague are something special. The interiors are very old in the typical bohemian style and the tables portray the same authentic styling also. You feel as if you’re in a movie. You can find the usual mix of tables such as Craps, BlackJack and Roulette in pretty much all Casinos, however only some boast slots, which is unusual.

The other good thing about the Casinos in Prague is that pretty much every night you can find a no-limit texas hold ‘em game in the city centre.

Roulette Systems - Just a Myth

I awoke this morning and checked the spam messages in my Inbox as usual, only to find a particular piece of spam that caught my eye. This article was advertising an eBook of some kind which claimed to have mathmatically proven that a fail safe Roulette system was possible. I was extremely intrigued (as anyone would be) mainly because I have reviewed countless Roulette systems in the past and found that pretty much all of them rely on a certain amount of luck. No matter how small, the luck element was always there, which kind of removes the whole point of a “system”. Anyway, as intrigued as I was, I decided to purchase it, purely to satisfy my imagination as to what this new method could be and all I can say is, what a complete, complete waste of time. The system was extremely complex and involved playing hundreds of games with small amounts each time. The whole system would take you a day or so to play and even then you’ll only end up with a few dollars. Hardly worth the effort.

I guess I will just continue trying to get lucky safe in the knowledge that Roulette Systems are a myth and nothing more.

Don’t Practice Your Poker Face

Poker is a game of skill, not of luck. What really goes into the game of poker is the ability to read people, to know when they are bluffing, and to know when you should fold. But with online poker, there is no longer a need for your straight poker face, the ability to read people, or the stress of losing your paycheck to your coworkers on a Friday night.

With online poker, you can play as you please. There are places online where you don’t have to play for money, but once you have begun playing online poker for awhile, you may opt to play for money if you think that you are lucky enough. Luck and skill are still a part of an online poker game, but with online poker you’ll never have to worry about somebody being able to read you better than you can read them. This takes much of the stress out of the game, making it enjoyable for everyone.

Remember that with any type of gambling, you should set limits. If you reach your limit, you should know when to walk away. This way, the game can stay fun and you can stay out of the poor house.

It’s Okay to Fold

Sunday
May 25,2008

Many poker players forget it is ok to fold. Paying to see extra cards is just a waste of your money in the long run. Many new poker players want to be involved with every hand, but that is not playing poker! Poker is simply a game of odds and percentages. If you are playing with two people and you have a pair of tens, you are in a good spot that is worth betting. Take the same pair and add in 8 players, your position is a little weaker. More people could mean more high pairs are out there that could beat what you have. The same logic applies in small or large games, do not bet to “stay around.” Only bet if you think you have a fighting chance to win!

When being dealt your cards a player must come up with some play standards in which they can decide to continue or fold and must stick to their standards, regardless if they feel like “this is the hand.” Again, depending on what type of poker you are playing could determine what defines “good cards” but coming up with your standard will save you from making an emotional bet and losing money you should not have bet in the first place!

Texas Hold ‘em 101

Sunday
May 18,2008

Let’s start with the basics, how does a round of Texas hold ‘em get played? First, there are the blinds. This requires two people, the big and little blinds, to put in the ante. Big blind puts in the full amount, little blind puts in half. Once that has been placed, the dealer will hand out two cards to each player. A round of betting will take place start with the person to the left of the large blind. Each person has three options. They can put in an amount equal to the ante, raise the ante or fold. The small blind, if they want to continue to play, needs to put in the other half of the ante or fold and then the big blind would have the option to raise or check.

Once that round is done, the dealer will lay three cards on the table face up, making the total number for each player 5 cards. A second round of betting will take place again with each person having the option to check if no bet has been placed, if a bet has been placed they need to see it or can always raise it. Upon the completion of that round, one single card will be turned over, again, followed by a round of betting. Finally, the last card is dealt for a total of 7 cards each player has to work with and can make the best combination of any 5 cards. Once the last card is dealt it is the final round of betting. No more cards are coming and each player must try to win by any means necessary!
